Fisher Contracting, in Midland, MI, is now hiring Construction Field Leaders. We are actively planning for the future and are seeking four Field Leaders to join our team. Fisher Contracting is a heavy/highway civil contractor specializing in site development, underground utilities, landfill construction, road & bridge construction, environmental remediation, marine construction, structural concrete, piling, dam rehabilitation, earth retention, and cofferdams.
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:
An ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, the desire to be a leader, and 10 years of construction experience. Fisher Contracting will provide training for the right candidate. Depending on experience, this position may require an additional 1-3 years of onsite training. Fisher Contracting is a Signatory Contractor.
Provide oversight of job performance and safety
Review and understand drawings and specifications
Report to Project Managers to track progress, manage issues, and support activities in the field
Manage the 2 week look-ahead schedule and forecast labor and equipment needs
Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor work in accordance with project schedule
Perform daily morning meetings to assign tasks and layout the work
Monitor productivity of the work and record in HCSS Heavy Job
Perform Construction Layout with assistance of measuring and location devices
