PROJECT ENGINEER INTERNSHIP
Project Engineer Interns support Fisher Contracting projects in Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Fisher Contracting is a heavy-civil contractor, specializing in site development, underground utilities, landfill construction, road & bridge construction, environmental remediation, marine construction, structural concrete, piling, dam rehabilitation, earth retention, and cofferdams. With over 300 employees, Fisher Contracting self performs 80% of its work.
An ideal intern candidate would be very organized, desires to work in a team environment on a construction site,
is self-motivated, and is motivated to progress into a leadership position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Support the onsite project team to meet job performance and safety goals
-
Create an environment that promotes communication between all project stakeholders
-
Have the ability to work closely with the Project Field Leaders to build work plans and gather data
-
Provide project updates based on the quantities completed
-
Assist the Field Leaders in forecasting labor requirements
-
Monitor productivity of the work vs. the established budgets
-
Assist in the submittal process and managing of the RFI process
-
Self-motivated to learn the required construction software from HCSS and Primavera
-
45-55 hours per week will be required
