Fisher Contracting, in Franklin, KY, is now hiring a Project Engineer for heavy civil industrial projects. Primarily in the landfill and coal combustion residuals sectors. Fisher Contracting is a heavy civil contractor, specializing in site development, underground utilities, landfill construction, road & bridge construction, environmental remediation, marine construction, structural concrete, piling, dam rehabilitation, earth retention, and cofferdams. Our Management Team works closely together to support each other through each project, and we all win/lose together as a team.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

An ideal candidate is incredibly organized, desires to work in a team environment on a construction site, is self-motivated, and is motivated to progress into a Project Manager role in the future.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Support the onsite Project Team to meet both job performance and safety goals 

  • Create an environment that promotes communication between all project stakeholders

  • Have the ability to work closely with the Project Field Leaders to build work plans and gather data

  • Provide project updates based on the quantities completed

  • Assist the Field Leaders in forecasting labor requirements

  • Monitor productivity of the work vs. the established budgets

  • Assist in the submittal process and the managing of the RFI process

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical training

  • Minimum of 3 years construction experience

  • Self-motivated to learn the required construction software from HCSS and Primavera

  • 45-55 hours per week will be required
