Fisher Contracting's Safety Program

Fisher Contracting has an aggressive safety program designed to protect employees, owners and the general public from injury. The program is based on a written program that includes a drug and alcohol policy with random testing, a hazardous communication program, and clearly defined duties and responsibilities for all personnel. Fisher Contracting also practices the principles of Behavior Based Safety. Fisher Contracting has a full time Safety Directory who answers directly to the president. The Safety Director has authority to shut down, or modify work at any time she feels it necessary. Superintendents and foremen receive OSHA supervisor training. All employees are required to go through an 8-hour safety orientation and a 4-hour yearly refresher. Most employees have completed their 40-hour Haz Mat training.
